A distinguished leader in Bhutan’s tourism and hospitality industry, Mr. Dipendra Giri brings over three decades of professional experience to TLF Holidays. Before founding the company in 2003, he held senior management positions across several major tourism organizations in Bhutan, gaining extensive exposure to the global travel trade.
Under his leadership, TLF Holidays has grown into one of Bhutan’s foremost Destination Management Companies (DMCs), renowned for its specialized and tailor-made travel experiences. Widely regarded as a Bhutan tourism expert, Mr. Giri actively heads the Business Development division and represents the company at international travel trade fairs and forums, promoting Bhutan as a premier sustainable destination on the global stage.
Dipendra Giri (Mr), founder and CEO of TLF Holidays, is a stalwart in Bhutan’s tourism industry with over 30 years of experience. Before establishing TLF Holidays in 2003, he held senior roles in major Bhutanese tourism organizations, gaining extensive global travel trade expertise. Under his leadership, TLF Holidays has become a leading Destination Management Company, specializing in tailor-made travel experiences. Mr. Giri also leads Business Development and represents Bhutan at international travel trade fairs, promoting the country as a sustainable tourism destination.
Ms. Kusum Chhetri
Director – Operations & Marketing
She holds a Master’s Degree in Ecology and Environment, a background that aligns seamlessly with Bhutan’s national philosophy of Gross National Happiness (GNH)—particularly its focus on environmental preservation and sustainable development.
A passionate advocate of sustainability, Ms. Chhetri has been instrumental in integrating eco-conscious and responsible tourism practices across all areas of TLF Holidays’ operations. Under her leadership, the company achieved the prestigious Travelife International Sustainability Certification in 2017, becoming the first Bhutanese travel company to receive this global recognition. She continues to champion initiatives that emphasize environmental stewardship, cultural preservation, and community engagement within Bhutan’s tourism sector.
In addition to her operational leadership, Ms. Chhetri oversees marketing and brand strategy, driving the company’s international growth and visibility. Her innovative marketing initiatives—ranging from targeted campaigns and digital storytelling to strategic collaborations with global trade networks—have significantly enhanced the company’s market presence. She also leads TLF Holidays’ participation in major international tourism fairs, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand representation.
Through her visionary leadership and strategic foresight, Ms. Chhetri has been pivotal in positioning TLF Holidays as a trusted, aspirational, and globally recognized Bhutanese travel brand, admired for its authenticity, professionalism, and commitment to sustainable tourism excellence.
Kusum Chhetri (Ms) is the head of Business Development unit and a specialist of Ecology and Environment, aligning with Bhutan’s focus on sustainability and Gross National Happiness. Ms. Pema Wangmo
Communications, Information & Publicity
As the Manager of Information and Publicity, Ms. Pema Wangmo leads TLF Holidays’ communications, media relations, and reservations with professionalism and strategic insight. Since joining the company, she has built a strong foundation in public relations and marketing communications, playing a key role in shaping the organization’s public image and expanding its reach within the tourism industry.
Ms. Wangmo’s strategic mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to service quality have significantly enhanced the company’s visibility and brand presence. She excels in coordinating internal and external communications, managing digital content, and fostering positive relationships with media partners and industry stakeholders.
In addition to her communications responsibilities, she also oversees the operational aspects of tour management. This includes managing hotel and flight reservations, coordinating guides and transport services, and ensuring that all logistical elements run smoothly. Her ability to balance both communications and operations makes her an integral part of the TLF Holidays team, contributing to seamless guest experiences and the overall efficiency of the company’s services.
Pema Wangmo (Ms), chief of Information and Publicity at TLF Holidays, oversees communications, and reservations. With a strategic approach and attention to detail, she manages internal and external communications, digital content, and media partnerships, strengthening TLF Holidays’ reputation in the tourism industry.
Mr. Robin Wangdi
Advisor and Consultant
Robin Wangdi (Mr), advisor and consultant at TLF Holidays, brings over five decades of experience in Bhutan’s tourism sector. Renowned for his expertise in travel operations, guest experience design, and bespoke journeys, he has helped elevate the company’s reputation for exceptional travel experiences. As a nationally certified hospitality trainer, he also mentors and trains Bhutan’s next generation of guides and hotel professionals, contributing significantly to the country’s tourism and hospitality standards.
